All Activities Are Canceled for Saturday Evening, All Day Sunday, January 24-25

Due to the expected inclement winter weather, all activities scheduled in FCPS schools or on school grounds are canceled beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and all day on Sunday, January 24-25, 2026. This includes: 

• Extracurricular activities.
• Interscholastic contests.
• Team practices.
• Field trips.
• Professional learning and training courses.
• Adult and Community Education (ACE) classes.
• Recreation programs and community use by outside groups not affiliated with FCPS.

Families and staff can refer to the Weather Resources on the FCPS website for additional details about community resources during winter storms, where to get the latest snow information from Fairfax County and VDOT, emergency contact information for law enforcement, and how to track power outages in your area.

Additional updates will be available on the FCPS website. A decision about school and activities Monday will be made on Sunday.
